Cold Moon

I went up onto my rooftop to watch the sun set over Athens. I stayed there for a while, just staring at all the colours in the sky and watching the city slowly close for the day. It seemed to get dark pretty quickly, or so I thought. Turns out I’d been up there much longer than I realised. After a really chilled evening, I turned around to head back downstairs and there it was. This cold little moon, surrounded by blankets of soft clouds. Somewhere along the way, completely unintentionally, this started reminding me of a fantasy film from my childhood.
